Chief artist and president of George Herman Artworks, George Estreich's creations have been featured in major art exhibits, television ad campaigns, textbooks and adopted by New York City public schools.

George is currently pursuing a masters degree in industrial design at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.

In 1997, while working towards a degree in Biological Anthropology at Binghamton University, Estreich formed George Herman Artworks. At this time, George was an accomplished painter and sketch artist who had not yet ventured into the world of 3D design. Fully self-taught, George developed his own techniques and style. Working mostly with Premo Clay, he began receiving requests for custom Judaica, jewelry and artwork.

Since that time, George Herman Artworks has grown to include a wide variety of sculptures in an expanding array of mediums. George worked on art exhibits sponsored by MTV and AMC (American Movie Classics). His designs were also featured in promotional campaigns by AMC. McGraw-Hill publishing takes advantage of Estreich’s rare combination of unique, often humorous artistry, and his strong scientific background for illustrations in their science and math textbooks.

Despite these diverse pursuits, the focus of George Herman Artworks remains: creating captivating, original, and highly conceptual 3D and digital artwork. These creations have been exhibited in places as diverse as the Art Director’s Club in New York City and the island of Hawai’i.

Further rounding his artistic portfolio, George is a guitarist and singer in Terraplane, a band that is quickly becoming an institution in the East Village of New York City. Alongside talents David Ellenbogen, Vladimir Katz and Wayne Schwartz, Terraplane is making a name for themselves with their bluesy, original compositions and improvisational explorations.

George is a NYC native, born in Manhattan, raised in Queens and New Hyde Park NY. He currently resides in Brooklyn NY with his inspiration and girlfriend of 4 years, Meghan.
